Carbon capture and carbon credits at the heart of our editorial mission
During this London stopover, Energy Observer will continue its editorial and production work on carbon capture, with a particular focus on a key topic: the role and value of carbon credits within the transition towards carbon neutrality.
Programme: meetings, navigations and clean technologies at sea
Energy Observer will be docked in London from 22 to 26 April 2026, with the objective of engaging with institutional and industrial partners, local decision-makers, energy transition stakeholders and the general public. The programme includes onboard visits and navigations aboard EO1, demonstrations of experiments conducted in real-life conditions, showcases of zero-emission technologies tested at sea, and foster dialogue around concrete solutions to accelerate decarbonization, particularly within the maritime sector.
The immersive cube: an experience open to all
For the occasion, Energy Observer will deploy its immersive exhibition cube, a 6m x 6m installation positioned dockside, next to the vessel, and open to everyone. This unique space offers visitors an immersive entry into the Energy Observer ecosystem: understanding the challenges of maritime decarbonization, discovering the technologies tested aboard EO1, and grasping the broader journey towards carbon neutrality.
