Why support the Energy Observer Foundation ?
Your support funds the programs that make the energy transition tangible for everyone, not just industry insiders. By joining the Energy Observer Foundation endowment fund, you directly help raise awareness, build engagement, and accelerate the emergence of a new generation of changemakers ready to take on the energy challenge.
3 objectives
Your gift funds stories that move people to act: hosting artists through the onboard residency program to create emotionally resonant, accessible narratives; producing audiovisual conten, documentaries, podcasts, and field reports, that humanize the transition; and creating and distributing educational content across books, short-form formats, and teaching materials.
Your gift turns awareness into action: educational programs for 15- to 25-year-olds (games, case studies, and real-world challenges); welcoming NGOs and field organizations at expedition villages or on board; conferences, workshops, and interdisciplinary debates; and from 2028, a dedicated citizen science program.
Your gift trains the people who will lead the transition: training programs, competitions, and initiatives to bring more women into scientific and maritime careers; practical educational tools including guides, fact sheets, and micro-learning content; and from 2028, direct support for research on energy and maritime transition.
Two levels of engagement

Official donors support public interest initiatives: audiovisual production, educational content, educational events, and initiatives related to the energy transition.
Solidarity donors
Solidarity donors contribute to public interest initiatives: production of educational content, awareness-raising campaigns, and the organization of events open to the public and school groups.
