A European transport player committed to the energy transition

DELANCHY is the specialist in temperature-controlled transport and logistics for food products. Every day, 55 agencies and 3,500 employees prepare and deliver sensitive goods on behalf of clients, producers and distributors alike. Speed and unique expertise combine with the demands of these essential trades, particularly in terms of food safety and road safety. Since 1968, DELANCHY has remained a family-owned and independent group, now taking on a new European dimension.

Born in the 1960s in Guidel to transport seafood from Lorient to Lyon and Paris, this small Breton company has grown and diversified, yet seafood still accounts for 45% of its business. By nature, the love of the ocean is embedded in its DNA, and protecting it is a cause close to its heart.

DELANCHY and Energy Observer

Partners since 2017

DELANCHY came on board with Energy Observer from the very start of the project in 2017. This partnership reflects the Group's determination to be an active driver of the energy transition in the transport and logistics sector, as knspired by Energy Observer, DELANCHY is exploring new technologies to build its own 'energy mix': trucks meeting the latest standards, battery-electric vehicles in urban areas, biofuels, gas and biogas, and hydrogen. Its agencies operate modern HQE or THQE-certified buildings. Producing and self-consuming green electricity through solar panels is becoming a standard in new constructions, increasing the share of clean energy while reducing CO₂ emissions.

As a partner of Energy Observer, DELANCHY also provides logistical support for the land-based leg of European expeditions.

Our philosophy: be a driver of change rather than waiting for it to be imposed on us. The transition is underway, Energy Observer inspires us.
