Energy Observer arrives in Antwerp

Located at the crossroads of major European logistics and energy networks, the port of Antwerp plays a central role in shaping the low-carbon infrastructures and hydrogen ecosystems of tomorrow. It is in this context that Energy Observer will moor at Zaha Hadidplein, in front of the iconic Maison Zaha Hadid, as a full-scale demonstrator of integrated energy systems and hydrogen-based technologies.

Throughout the stopover, our exhibition cube will be deployed on-site to welcome visitors and offer an immersive window into the technologies and discoveries of the expedition. The vessel itself will serve as a living proof of concept, illustrating how hydrogen and renewable energy can be combined to decarbonise maritime transport and inspire broader industrial transitions.

Antwerp will also host a dedicated event organised by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, bringing together the Hydrogen Valleys community and key stakeholders of the European hydrogen ecosystem. Energy Observer will take part as a tangible embodiment of the ambitions driving this transition, connecting innovation, industry and public engagement around a shared objective: accelerating the deployment of hydrogen solutions at scale across Europe.
