The Exhibition

At each stopover, Energy Observer plays host to the public around the challenges of energy and ecological transition through its travelling exhibition. Free to access, this immersive and interactive exhibition is a unique opportunity to plunge into the heart of the project, to learn, understand and share the various energies. This venue for meetings and exchanges has already welcomed nearly 300,000 visitors in the past 3 years.

Raising awareness among a wide audience

In 2020, Energy Observer’s travelling exhibition is undergoing a facelift. Now equipped with containers, in addition to its two domes, the exhibition will unveil a new route and an immersive experience for the general public.

These containers, in partnership with the CMA CGM, will be transformed into a circular economy dynamism. This will enable Energy Observer’s educational content to be exhibited, as well as transporting all the geodesic domes and all the exhibition’s equipment.

The village of Energy Observer with a sunset and passers-by

We are eager to minimise our ecological impact as much as possible and make the village self-sufficient, fuelled by the same energy mix as on the boat.

Our aim:

- to bring the Energy Observer experience to the public audience in a lively and immersive manner

- to show that the development of renewable energies, green hydrogen and smart-grid computer systems are a favourable response to the climate emergency.

- to welcome the teaching profession, the institutions and our partners in order to create events that push the boundaries.
