At this stopover, our film crew also set out in search of local solutions for ecological transition: the Vento di Venezia association which works each day to make the Certosa island the green lung of Venice, the I Sapori di Sant Erasmo farm which specializes in delivering safe products with a reduced carbon footprint, the No Grandi Navi association which fights against water pollution in Venice and finally, the MOSE project, a giant barrier that allows water surges to be controlled during “Aqua Alta” in Venice.
