      Praia, Cape Verde

Cape Verde is a biodiversity refuge for many marine species. Our ship is at anchor for two days for a well-deserved break before sailing due west across the Atlantic. Here again, it is impossible to set foot on land with the strict sanitary conditions.

      The halfway point

The crew has happily celebrated half of the crossing since leaving Saint-Malo for the West Indies, i.e. 2,400 nautical miles covered in 19 days, a record for Energy Observer! And a transatlantic crossing which continues more than ever.
