Singapore, our first major event stop in Asia! After 17 days of sailing from Lombok in Indonesia, our ship and our exhibition village were finally together for the first time in over two years.
In 2021, Energy Observer has broken its record for the longest navigation! Back on 15 000 nautical miles of navigation, from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean.
After 24 days at sea from New Caledonia, our ship reached Kupang, our gateway to Indonesia, to complete some administrative formalities. A stop that will turn into 10 days of quarantine at anchor for sanitary reasons. This will test once again the autonomy of our vessel and the patience of our crew...
Our vessel left Noumea on November 13, heading for Kupang, Indonesia. A tough navigation told by our captain Jean-Baptiste Sanchez, who led our crew off the Great Barrier Reef.
Lifou is the last stop of our journey in New Caledonia. This island is trying to free itself from its dependence on fossil fuels by developing a renewable energy mix. A model that could interest other islands in the Pacific.
