Energy Observer’s winter technical stopover
This time the shipyard aims at improving the embarked technologies in order to get the best performances during the next step of our Odyssey for the future, the Tour of the Mediterranean. This tour will be composed of two distinct steps.
The first, in January, on the sea, will be entirely dedicated to optimization tests on already installed equipments, such as reinstalling the wind turbine we took down in Saint-Nazaire, and to increasing the solar panel surface of the vessel.
The second stop will be dedicated to dry dock maintenance to take care of the underwater part of the boat, starting with the hull.
