      A record number of tropical storms swept across our planet in 2020! Marin Jarry, second captain and director of armament, exchanges with Yann Amice, our meteorologist and a CCR expert as our ship was moved into a cyclone hole to remain sheltered during the hurricane season.

      Heading to Guadeloupe

      After a few weeks at anchorage, Energy Observer finally left Martinique under a threatening sky.

      Our program was reviewed in the light of the latest governmental news: our ship set sail for Guadeloupe, where the conditions are more flexible and allow us to continue our Odyssey, documenting solutions to accelerate energy transition and to protect biodiversity.
